The charitable action «OUR CITY»
March 13, 2000 the Grodno public female organisation (GPFO) «The Spring of Mercy» was registered. Mothers of large families and the needy mothers were united to help their children. It is the organisation members of which are women who have three and more children under age and woman who bring up children - invalids and mother who bring up their children alone. The charitable action is carried out at the expense of means of the Grodno businessmen and will take place from 12.03.2001 till 1.06.2001.
It is necessary to take into account difficult economic situation of our country now and disability of the state to supply all citizens with a job and worthy earnings to feed not speaking about bringing up of children. Women have to search for means to grow children under age independently. In many needy families there are no even children's beds, therefore children sleep on the floor. If somebody has waste furniture (tables, beds, chairs), home appliances etc address: we shall find a new grateful host to it. The help is rendered not only to families where a lot of children are brought up but also to those who need it sharply. The things, food, plates and dishes, toys are gathered at the markets and in the city. Those who want to hand things independently can make this daily except for week-days from 14.00 in the hotel "Neman" room 330 tel. 44-14-33 (Grodno Stefan Batory 8-330, for letters 230005, Grodno 5, subscriber box 63), tel./fax . We ask you to hand second-hand things clean and whole. If it is very necessary we can submit a car for the delivery of things.
The businessmen, organisations and citizens who want to enumerate means to support "The Spring of Mercy" and the action "OUR CITY" are able to do it and we are grateful them for this.
